LeGene Premium Express Plus 1st Strand cDNA Synthesis System is optimized to synthesize high yield cDNA from total or poly(A)+ purified RNA. RnaUsScript-Gold Reverse Transcriptase is engineered from Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus RT to eliminate RNaseH activity and enhance cDNA yield at an elevated temperature up to 60 oC. The system can be used with a broad range of RNA template concentrations, from as low as 10 pg to as high as to 5 µg of total RNA. LeGene Premium Express Plus 1st Strand cDNA Synthesis reverse transcriptase is a mixture of RnaUsScript-Gold RT and a ribonuclease inhibitor protein. A wide range of RNA targets from 100 bp to 13 kb can be detected with this system. It is ideally suited for high throughput expression profile studies using real-time quantitation, and end-point RT-PCR, viral RNA detection and analysis, and gene isolation. The system contains all the components needed for first-strand cDNA synthesis. The reagents are sufficient for 50 cDNA synthesis reactions of 20 µl reaction volume.
