LeGene RnaUs Total Tissue Premium RNA Prep Kit combines the reversible binding properties of ezCapture RNA technology with a specially designed buffer system which can effectively remove genomic DNA contamination for sensitive applications. Samples are first lysed and homogenized in a specially designed denaturing buffer, which immediately inhibits the activity of RNase and DNase. The lysate is then passed through an ezTrap column that will trap genomic DNA and separate it from RNA. The flow-through lysate, which contains the RNA, is then applied to an ezCapture RNA bind column which selectively purifies for RNA only. The whole process can be completed in less than 20 minutes and can purify up to 100 ug of total RNA from cultured cells or animal tissues. The purified RNA is of high quality and ready to use in any downstream applications including real time RT-PCR, array analysis, and next generation RNA sequencing. The binding capacity of each ezCapture RNA Mini Column is approximately 100 ug RNA and recommend to use up to 30 mg tissue or 1x107 cells.
